NeXTStep 3.3
Getting much closer on my old-code-porting Research Project from Hell.
After reading API docs endlessly, and changing many thousands of lines of code, everything's pretty close to being converted from ancient AppKit code to Cocoa. Now I require an OpenStep 4.2 box to convert the nibs. Anyone out there in blog-land have OpenStep running somewhere?
Plum-bobs love my big sphinx of toast.

PerversionTracker furor
As I had hoped, I'm inciting riots with PerversionTracker
Although I should know better, I will respond to a few of your treasonous slanders.
1. Yes, I can write better software than this. I've shipped three commercial apps as the lead developer, and have produced several pieces of freeware (none of which I currently charge for, incidentally). Astute readers will also notice a deliberate parody application (written by me) amongst the entries.
2. Yes, I do have a life, and also enjoy some light-hearted jesting, as seen on PvT.
3. Yes, REALbasic can produce some nice apps - I use MacTracker on occasion myself.
In summary, laugh a little more -- you'll feel better.

Safari Bugs
David Hyatt is asking for trackbacks about Safari.
I can't say I use it full-time yet, but here's my wish list:
1. Fix the cookies bug so that we can set session cookies without hacks
2. Use HTTP 1.1, and pipelining if possible
3. Allow gzip/deflate transfer encoding for bandwidth-limited sites
4. Fix problems with bordered floating divs not painting
5. Fix possible table cell space distribution bug seen in the topbar of Xbench Comparison Site
6. Remove metal appearance - it looks ugly, and doesn't match the contents of most pages.
7. Fix crash occuring on Logorrhea Site
8. Fix absolute positioning so that it uses the bottom of the entire window, rather than bottom of the page -- see W3C XHTML badge on Spiny

For some reason, International Creative Management feels that there is a "Robert Jones" at my domain name, who needs their roster of artists. I'm tempted to try to pretend to be Mr. Jones, and book a few performers, but I'm at a loss of which artists to pick for my special event. Perhaps you have some suggestions?
